Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect through dental-club.bg, on what basis we process it and what rights you have. Processing of clinical data inside the practice is governed by separate documentation given to you at your first visit.
Who processes your data, and what we collect
The controller is Dental Club Karadjovi, 28 Dr Lyuben Popov Street, Briz district, 9010 Varna, Bulgaria. Registered legal name and company number: „АИППДП ДЕНТАЛ КЛУБ“ ЕООД (AIPPDP DENTAL CLUB EOOD), UIC/ЕИК 207922787.
For any question about your personal data, write to smile@dental-club.bg or call +359 896 121 314. The practice is not required to appoint a data protection officer under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679; data protection matters are handled by the practice manager. Write to smile@dental-club.bg with the subject line “Personal data”.
Through contact and enquiry forms: your name, telephone number, email address and the content of your message, including the description of the matter you are writing about. By telephone or email, whatever you choose to tell us.
Through analytics, where you have consented: technical information about the visit such as device and browser type, approximate location at city level, pages viewed and the source of the traffic. This information is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful.
Lawful bases
Answering your enquiry and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract rely on Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Keeping clinical records relies on legal obligation and on the provisions governing the delivery of healthcare.
Analytics cookies are set solely on the basis of your consent and only after it has been given. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Health data
Data concerning health is a special category of personal data. This website does not collect health data, and we ask you not to send medical information through the website forms.
If you send photographs or medical documents by email in connection with an online consultation, they are processed solely in order to answer you, with access limited to the responding dentist and the coordinator. Clinical records inside the practice are kept separately, in a secured environment, in accordance with applicable law.
Retention, recipients and international transfers
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after the exchange ends. If an enquiry leads to a booked appointment, the data becomes part of the patient record and follows the retention rules for clinical documentation. Clinical records are retained for the periods set by Bulgarian legislation applicable to healthcare providers — different document types carry different statutory minimums. Event-level data in Google Analytics 4 is retained for 14 months.
Data may be accessible to suppliers acting as processors: SiteGround Spain S.L. (website and email hosting, EU data centres), Google Ireland Limited (the Google Analytics 4 tool — only after your consent) and the specialised patient-records software used by the practice. Where processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area — for example to Google LLC (USA) — it takes place on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, to rectification of inaccurate data, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to object to processing and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time.
Requests can be sent to smile@dental-club.bg. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, 1592 Sofia, kzld.bg.

Last updated: 1 September 2026. If the tools, suppliers or the legal framework change, this notice is updated and the new version is published on this page with a new date.

Please do not send medical material through the forms. For an online consultation, use email to smile@dental-club.bg or call us for guidance. That way the material arrives through a controlled route and access stays limited to the responding dentist and the coordinator.
Send a request to smile@dental-club.bg and we will reply within the statutory period. Some clinical records cannot be deleted, because healthcare providers are legally required to retain them. Where that applies, we will explain what is being kept and on what basis.
We do not send marketing messages without your consent and we do not sell data to third parties. Photographs and clinical material are never used on social media or in advertising without separate, explicit consent for that specific channel and purpose, which you can withdraw.
